1) How big should the file be and in what resolution?

Please scale your image to the shape of the panel you want. Most of our rectangular panels have a ratio of 2 : 3. We would like your files in RGB and in JPEG or TIF format. As for resoution we suggest 200 to 300 ppi. *Please note the physical sizes, ie: inches can be as little as 1/3 the actual size of the panel you want. We have software that will enable us to upscale your image to the correct size.

2) Can you make custom sizes?

3) Can I make one large image using multiple panels?

Yes, a number of our gallery and museum customers create large wall murals using mutilple panels. Our 12" x 12" panels are perfect for this type of application.

4) Are Alumaprintz panels durable?

The Surface of our panels is UV coated and scratch resistant. Finger prints can be wiped off easily with the soft cloth like a swifter.

5) Are the panels suitable for outdoor applications?

Yes they can be used outdoors with a life span of at least 3 to 4 years. Our panels come with a protective coating on the back as well.

6) Will sunlight fade the prints?

Sun will fade anything over a long period of time. However, this product is UV coated for extra protection and stands up well to sun rays. Light to medium exposure to the sun will not fade this product. As with any printed product we do not suggest placing it in direct sunlight.

7) Can we get the panels with out the backs used for hanging?

Yes, all you have to do is request it when ordering your panels.
